Coming out of the "Wild"

I hope viewers will forgive us for posting something that has nothing to do with local, state or Federal issues. But the photos, sent by a friend in Australia, the Editor's place of birth, are so heart warming! In these contentious and difficult times, we thought viewers would appreciate the tenderness of the meeting of "wild" animals and humans as they share common hardships - a heat wave and bushfires.

For the record, koalas are protected. They live in coastal areas of Eastern Australia and feed only on eucalyptus leaves. Don't even think of trying to buy one!
